Kochkurs Café Juicy Lotus

Meine Freundin Claudi hatte eine super Idee, dass wir anstatt unserem wochentlichen Kaffeetrinken  einen Kochkurs zusammen machen.  Der Kurs hat unter der Wochen in einem Health Food Store stattegefunden. Das ganze Essen war vegetarisch, gluten-frei und mit einem scharfen Curry angemacht. Es war lusting und sehr lecker. Der Ausflug hat sich auf alle Faelle gelohnt.


My friend Claudia hat a great idea, she suggested that we attend a cooking class together. The course took place during the week in a health food store and we made beautiful vegetarian dishes wit a spicy curry sauce. It was fun, the food was great and we really enjoyed the little adventure.

Mittagessen bei Andrea, lunch at Andrea`s

Ich bin gluecklich in Kanada ein so nettes soziales Netz zu haben. Jeden Mittwoch gehe ich ins Yoga und treffe mich anschliessend mit meinen Freundinnen Andrea und Claudia zum Kaffeetrinken. An Weihnachten hat Andrea uns mit einem wunderschoenen Mittagessen verwoehnt, die Photos sind so nett, dass ich sie mit Euch teilen moechte.

I am blessed to have such a nice social circle in Canada. Every Wednesday night I take a Yoga class and meet my friends for coffee. During the holidays my friend Andrea spoiled us with a wonderful lunch, the pictures were so nice that I wanted to share them with you.

Weihnachten 2013, Christmas 2013

Im Dezember hat unsere Stadt eine Weihnachtsfeier veranstaltet, mit Lagerfeuer, heisser Schokolade, Geschenkverlosung und einem echten Renntier, ein Ereignis fuer die Kinder, dass bei -21 C allerdings nur von kurzer Dauer sein konnte.

Our city organized a Christmas Party this December with open fire, hot chocolate, raffle and a real reindeer, the kids enjoyed it, even if we could not stay too long as it was -21C that day.

 

Ein weiteres schoenes Ereignis war die Weihnachtsfeier fuer Kinder von meiner Firma, mit Huepfespielen, Theaterstueck, viel Essen, grossen Geschenken und zur Kroenung dem Weihnachtsmann.

 

An other highlight this month was the company Christmas party for children with jumping games, a theater play, lots of food, big gifts and of course the best Santa Claus.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren heiligen Abend mit Familie, Freunden und Nachbarn und vielem guten Essen, ich war so beschaeftigt, dass ich das photographieren vergessen habe, von daher gibt es nur zwei Bilder von unserem schoenen Tisch und Gabriels Freude ueber seine Geschenke.

We had a wonderful Christmas eve with family, friends, my neighbour and lots of good food, I was so busy that I forgot to take pictures, this is why there are only two one from the table and one of Gabriel`s joy opening his gifts. Merry Christmas to everybody.

 

 

Diskusbabies Baby Discus

Ich habe mir fuenf Babydiskusfische gekauft, zwei blaue, zwei gelbe und einen Red Turquoise und freue mich sehr darueber, bin mal gespannt ob ich sie gross kriege, sie sind ungefair 5 cm gross. Suess sind sie jedenfalls.

I have bought five Baby Discus, two blue diamond, two yellow pigeon blood and one red turquoise I hope I get to raise them, they are around 3 in right now. But they are really cute.

The Indian Summer is back

Dieses Jahr ist schnell vergangen mit dem vielen Regen hatte man das Gefuehl, dass wir keinen Sommer hatten. Der indianische Sommer ist dafuer um so schoener aber geht so schnell vorbei. Anbei ein paar Photos von unseren vielen Blaettern die wir bald einsammeln muessen, es sind jedes Jahr um die 35 Saecke. Also dass haelt in Schwung!

As it rained a lot this summer we have the feeling that we did not have one and autumn is back too early but as every year the Indian summer is the most beautiful season of the year. Below some pictures of the many leaves in our yard we will have to collect around 35 bags of them. This keeps us fit!

Meine Helden, my heros

Meine Jungs haben beschlossen, dass sie sich dieses Jahr fuer Halloween als Superhelden verkleiden moechten, Evan ist Spiderman und Gabriel Superman. Also mir kann nichts mehr passieren, ich bin von Helden umgeben. ;-)

My boys decided that they want to be super heros this Halloween, Evan is Spiderman and Gabriel Superman. With so much man power nothing will ever happen to me. ;-)

50!!!

Wir haben Claudes 50tigsten Geburtstag gefeiert und ein paar lustige Spiele gespielt, wie Ihr sehen koennt hatten wir viel Spass. Wir haben Glueck viele liebe Freunde zu haben und dass wir von einem schoenen sozialen Netz umgeben sind. Wenn ihr die Bilder anklickt werden sie groesser.
