First Honey

Ich bin sehr stolz auf meine zwei Imker, der Honig schmeckt fantastisch und es ging alles einfacher als erwartet, unsere erste Honigernte von sieben Rhamen betrag 8.3 kg!





I am very proud of my two beekeeper, the honey tastes fantastic and everything was easier as I had expected.

Our first harvest was 7 frames and gave us a total of 8.3kg or 18 pounds of honey!

Ich habe mich riesig gefreut Gabriel mit seinen Opa zusammen zu erleben. Die beiden haben sich immer gut entspannt.

Am letzten Samstag waren wir alle zusammen auf dem Familienfest. Es gab Huepfspiele, Hot Dogs, Bier, Musik, Wasserutschen, Feuerwehrautos und Polizeiautos.

Evan hatte jede Menge Spass. Eine schoene Aktivitaet bei sehr heissen schoenen Wetter.

Last Saturday the whole family went to a city family party, there were jumping games, hot dogs, beer and musik, water slides, fireman trucks and police cars.

Evan had lots of fun, a nice activity on a hot day.

Evan ist sehr gluecklich da sein Opa momentan hier ist und viel mit ihm unternimmt, auch seine ersten Schwimmversuche....

Nach wochenlangen schlechtem Wetter waren wir zum ersten Mal beim Baden und haben es sehr genossen.
After weeks of bad weather we went swimming for the first time and had lots of fun.

Geburtsanzeige Gabriel

We are happy to let you know that Gabriel has been born in good health on July 23rd, 2009 at 5h12 a.m. He was weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces (3415 g) and was 19 inches long (48.5cm).
Baby and Mother are doing fine and are happy to be back home.

We freuen uns Euch mit zu teilen, dass Gabriel um fuenf Uhr morgens am 23ten Juli 2009 geboren wurde. Nach der Geburt wog er 3415 g und war 48.5 cm lang.
Heute ist Gabriel drei Tage alt und wir sind sehr gluecklich alle wieder zu Hause zu sein.
Evan was very cute at the arrival of his brother, he even wanted to give him back one of the gifts the baby had given him. He says it is his baby and Gabriel already got many hugs and kisses, also did he ask me not to close the door so that the baby is not afraid...

Evan hat erstaunlich suess auf die Ankunft seines Bruders reagiert. Er spricht von seinem Baby und wollte ihm sogar eines seiner Geschenke wieder geben damit er auch etwas zum spielen hat. Ausserdem hat er seine Mami gebeten die Tuere nicht ganz zu zu machen, damit dass Baby keine Angst hat....

34 weeks, yes six more weeks and Gabriel will be here. 34 Wochen geschafft, noch maximal 6 Wochen und Gabriel ist da!

Gardening became a passion over the past five years, since last year I try to take some pictures to keep track of the development and changes.

Gartenarbeit ist in den letzten fuenf Jahren eine richtige Leidenschaft geworden, ich versuche jedes Jahr ein paar Photos zu machen um die Entwicklung festzuhalten.















The new flower bed got ready end of May due to the help of my friends Annie-Claude and Priscilla, as I had underestimated my pregnant belly.

Ein neues Blumenbeet wurde Ende Mai fertig, dank der Hilfe meiner Freundinnen Annie-Claude und Priscilla, da ich meine verfuegbare Kraft in der Schwangerschaft unterschaetzt hatte.

Claude hat heute seine Bienen bekommen. Wenn alles gut geht dann werden die zwei schoenen Bienenstoecke viel Honig produzieren. Ein Solarpanel laedt die Batterie fuer den den elektrischen Zaun um wilde Tiere ab zu halten. Ich bin ja mal gespannt wie sich die Honigproduktion bewaehrt. :-)

Claude got his bees today and installed them in the jungle if everything works as planned the beautiful hives will produce lots of honey. A solar panel charges the battery and protects the bees from the wild life via an electrical fence . I am looking forward to seeing how the honey production will develop. ;-)
