Hagen Christmas Party - Hagen Weihnachtsfeier

Die Hagen Weihnachtsfeier ist immer ein Traum fuer Kinder von Huepfespielen ueber tolles kindergerechtes Essen bis hin zur echten Phyton und Spiderman alles geboten.

The Hagen Christmas party is always a dream event for kids, from jumping games, to kid friendly food, a realy phyton and spiderman everything a child possibly can dream of.

Es ist noch relativ warm fuer kanadische Verhaeltnisse und der Schnee ist schoen klebrig, das gibt lustige Formen so wie unser Weihnachtsreh, dass aussieht wie ein Esel.

It is warm for the season and the snow is sticky, the nature looks nice and the snow makes funny shapes. Here our Christmas deer as donkey.

Christmas events on the street - Weihnachtsfest auf der Strasse

Auch wenn der typisch deutsche Weihnachtsmarkt und vor allem der Gluehweihn und die Schokofruechte fehlt gibt es auch in Kanada viele Weihnachtsaktivitaeten auf der Strasse. Hier ein paar Photos mit den Kindern beim Kutschefahren und anderem.

Even if the typical German Christmas market with hot wine and chocolate fruits is missing there are many other Christmas events on the street. Here some pictures from the kids enjoying the outdoors, riding in the coach etc.

Hiking with friends -Maedels beim Wandern

Im November habe ich mir mit meinen Freundinnen Annie-Claude und Danielle einen Maedelstag gegoennt wir sind zum Wandern gegangen und anschliessend in einen Spa und danach schoen zum Abendessen. Es war der perfekte Tag, als wir im Spa in der Sauna sassen wurde es dunkel, der Garten und die Wirlpools waren mit schoenen Lichtern beleutchted und es fing an zu schneien, ultra gemuetlich. Jede Jahrezeit hat ihren Scharm, manchmal liebe ich den kanadischen Winter.

In November I took a girls day with my two friends Annie-Claude and Danielle we did go hiking and after that in a Spa and had a nice supper. It was the perfect day, we sat in a sauna and looked through a window in a garden with  lights and fuming hot tubs and the snow was falling it was super coszy. Every season has its charm sometimes I love the Canadian winter.

Ecomuseum, Ausflug ins Ecomuseum

Das Ecomuseum ist ein kleiner Zoo der einheimische Tiere aufnimmt die verletzt worden sind oder anderweitig in der Natur nicht ueberleben koennen. Evan war dort auf einen Kindergeburtstag eingeladen und ich habe davon profitiert mit Gabriel und einer Freundin dort bummeln zu gehen.

Ich wusste nicht dass Waschbaeren bis 15 Meter hoch in die Baeume klettern um zu schlafen. ;-)

The ecomuesum is a small zoo that provides shelter for local animals who got hurt or cannot survive in nature for an other reason. Evan was invited to a birthday party at the ecomuseum and I profited at the same time to visit the zoo with a friend.

I did not know that racoons do sleep 15 m in the air. ;-)

Gabriel mit Freunden

Eine Albinowasserschildkroete, sie wuerde in der Natur nicht ueberleben, da ihr das Futter davon schwimmt. An albino water turtle she could not survive in nature as her food can see her from afar.

Annabelle willkommen in unserer Familie, Annabelle welcome to the family

Meine Nichte hat vor einer Woche ein kleines Maedchen bekommen, wir freuen uns sehr ueber den Familienzuwachs und wie ihr sehen koennt ist sie sehr suess. Willkommen in der Familie Annabelle!

My niece got a baby girl a week ago as you can see she is very cute already and we are happy about the enlarged family. Welcome to the family Annabelle!

Holzbrettl- wood plate

Claude hat von unserem Land trockenes Holz mitgebracht und wunderschoene Holzbretter gemacht, Gabriel hat ihm geholfen, indem er ihm beim schleifen den Staubsauger gehalten hat. Nachdem die Bretter geschliffen worden sind und mit Leinsamenoel eingeschmiert wurden, sind sie nicht nur schoen anzusehen, sondern auch weich wie ein Babypopo.

Claude brought dry wood home from our land and made beautiful wooden plates. Gabriel helped him holding the vacuum cleaner while his father sanded the wood. Once the wood had been sanded and polished with lin seed oil, it is not only beautiful to look at,but soft as a baby`s butt.

Der Garten im September, our yard in September

Wir sind jetzt mittem im indianischen Sommer, d.h. es ist 25C warm und die Blaetter sind alle gelb und rot, ich liebe es im Winter die Bilder vom Garten anzuschauen, in einer Jahreszeit wo man sich nicht vorstellen kann, dass alles ein mal so gruen gewesen ist. Deshalb ein paar Photos vom Garten im September.

Time flies we are in the midst of the Indian summer with warm temperatures and yellow and red leaves, I love to look at pictures of the garden in winter, where one cannot imagine that everything has been so green once, therefore a couple of impressions of the yard in September.

Evan ist 8, Evan turned 8

Wir haben Evan`s Geburtstag in einem Amusement Park gefeiert, die Jungs hatten viel Spass und wir hatten fast die ganze Halle fuer uns alleine, da hier in Kanada ein langes Wochenende ist.

We celebrated Evans`s eight birthday in a family fun center, as you can see the boys hat lots of fun. We had almost the whole center for ourselves due to the long week-end here in Canada.
