Wir haben das Glueck von vielen grossen Baeumen umgeben zu sein, aber das bedeutet, dass wir im Herbst 35 Saecke Laub einsammeln muessen. Viel Arbeit fuer uns, aber ein heiden Spass fuer die Kinder.

We are lucky to have lots of mature trees but every fall we need to collect about 35 bags of leaves.

Lots of work for us and lots of fun for the kids.

Niedliche Schmutzwaesche

Wenn Schmutzwaesche immer so niedlich waere.

It would be fun if a dirty cloth container would be always so cute.

Die Kinder im Sommer

Ich bin immer wieder fasziniert wie schnell die Zeit vergeht und wie unheimlich gross die Jungs schon sind.

I am always amazed how quickly the time flies and how big the boys already are.

Evan 5ter Geburtstag

An Evan`s fuenften Geburtstag wehte der Wirbelsturm Irene. Wir mussten daher die Party ins Haus verlegen und eine kleinere Huepfeburg im Keller aufbauen. Aber wir hatten Glueck im Unglueck der Stromaufall kam erst nach der Party um 15h30 und dauerte nur 7 Stunden.

At Evan`s fifth birthday the hurricane Irene came to Canada, so we had to do the party inside and install a smaller jumping game in our basement. But we were lucky we started to miss electricity only after the party at 3.30 p.m. and this only for 7 hours.

Eine Woche Urlaub, one week vacation

Wir hatten eine traumhaft schoene Woche Urlaub mit herrlichen Wetter. Wir waren vier Tage beim Campen. Wie ihr seht hatte Evan viel Spass im Dreck, ;-)

We had a dream week vacation. The weather was nice so that we could go four days camping. Below you can see that Evan hat fun with the dirt...

Wir waren mit Manon und Sylvain zusammen in Grenville und den vier Hunden, meine Hunde haben Angst vorm Wasser, es ist daher um so schoener ihren Hunden beim Schwimmen zu zu sehen.

We have been in Grenville with Manon and Sylvain and the four dogs, my dogs are afraid of the water so it is fun to see their dogs swim.

Nach unserem Campurlaub haben wir einen Ausflug in den Granby Zoo gemacht. Neben den vielen exotischen Tieren gab es dort tolle Aktivitaeten, wie Rochen streicheln, Dromedar reiten und Papageien fuettern.

After our camping trip we made an excursion to the Granby Zoo. Beside all the beautiful exotic animals they offer great activities such as caressing sting rays, riding a dromedar and feeding parrots.

Gabriel`s 2nd Birthday

Im Juli war Gabriels zweiter Geburtstag, den wir gebuehrend mit ein paar Freunden und Familie gefeiert haben. Es war ein wunderschoener heisser Tag.

In July has been Gabriels second birthdaythat we were celebrating with a couple of friends and family it was a beautiful hot day.

The biggest attraction of his birthday party beside his future ``girlfriend`` were the hotair ballons. Gabriel loved them so much that he went to sleep with them.

Am besten haben dem Gabriel ausser seier zukuenftigen Freundin, die Heisluftballons gefallen, er liess sie garnicht mehr los und nahm sie sogar mit ins Bett, siehe unten.
